Nipple piercing

Is it normal for me to feel like im going to pass out when my nipple rings are being taken out to be cleaned and put back in

Just that process in general

However when i clean them in shower with out taking them out i dont feel like it

I have had them pierced for couple years now.

My husband got me straight ones with pretty balls / well they are heart shaped with gem in them on the ends to wear and im worried they are too short, how to i tell ?

The previous ones i had in were curved and i have straight in right now and seem to be doing fine but they are just reg plain straight ones but am worried about the pretty ones but really wanna wear them
