Bedtime bottle
For those who still use bottles at/around bedtime, do you take the bottle when it's empty or let baby keep it?
I just read an article to not give your baby a bottle to go to sleep with because it'll cause cavities. I knew that part, but the part that I'm wondering is the article said if you switch it out for a pacifier before they fall asleep, it'll help wash the baby's mouth out or be better for them or something.
I still give my daughter a bottle at bedtime (not at naps anymore, and actually, it's a soft spout sippy cup) and she drinks it, throws it outside the crib, and finds her pacifier before going to sleep. So she doesn't suck on a milk bottle all night.
Does anyone still do bottles at night? Or heard of this? Will having warm milk before sleep in general be bad for her teeth?
