Boyfriend body count

We were in a discussion ,when I first asked him about his body count he said 4 in person vividly , and then he said 3 on facetime... that’s weird thing to lie about yea he has a point the reason why I’m asking him about that is because he’s one of the first guys I’ve participated in sexual activity’s with. I just want to be safe , it’s weird. He got upset and hung up the phone.
