Why does no one respond in this group?

I’ve posted multiple things with no responses. Anyways, how many of you had twins vaginally vs. cesarean? My dr is pushing for scheduled cesarean after I told him I wanted to try naturally. He says it’s safer. Less trouble. I can’t stand him. I’ve seen other sources say vaginally is safer and healthier.

Depends on so many factors and the type of twins. I would say always get a second opinion. I have to have a csection for the type of twins I am carrying as it really is the safest option.

I was induced at 38+1 day and was trying to have them vaginally. Both babies were head down and my doctor was perfectly fine with a vaginal delivery. Ended up having to have an emergency c section.

What kind of twins are you having? Is there any complications at all? Mo/mo will usually need to be delivered c-section, mo/di c-section is highly recommended. There are many reasons for this. You could get sudden onset of TTTS or TAPS etc. We did c-section with my Mo/Di girls at 32 weeks. I would have lost both girls had I pushed for a vaginal. Healthy girl had really short cord that snapped off when they were removing the placenta, sIUGR baby had a one artery cord they missed and it was completely see-through. It honestly looked like a piece of the membrane divider.

I’m having mo/di and my doctor is leaving the choice up to me. I’m going to do a c-section. Knowing the risk it’s not worth it. Especially with the amount of times twin A is born and B is a emergency c-section, plus the risk of TTTS and TAPS. I saw another mom mention it as well. 
Best thing to do is find out the type of twins you’re having and educate yourself. 
Do you know genders? Have they mentioned 1 placenta or 2?

As stated above there are many factors that play into it. 
We had mo/di twins. There are 5 doctors in my practice and each had different comfort levels for vaginal delivery. 3 said both babies HAD to be head down. 2 said if baby A was head down and bigger than B then they’d deliver B in whatever position. 
I had sudden onset preE. Baby A was head down. Baby B transverse back up so the cord was under baby. My Dr (who is on the hospital committee to reduce the amount of csection a performed) said the risk of cord prolapse was too great if baby bs water broke before turning breech or head down. He wasn’t willing to risk the safety of the babies. So urgent csection we went. 
I have 2 friends that had di/di twins. Both had successful vaginal deliveries.

My doctor encouraged me to have a c-section right from the start (di/di twins) as he said that was safer for the babies and he’d often seen the second twin in distress and requiring a c-section anyway. The safety of my twins was always my priority above any birth plan wishes I might’ve had, and I trusted my doctor. In the end we needed a c-section anyway due to a cord issue with one of my twins who also had IUGR. If you’re not happy with your doctor’s advice, there’s no harm in seeking a second opinion.

It depends on what kind of twins and how they positioned. Sometimes vaginal is fine to try in an OR but sometimes csection based on a couple of things.

I would get a new doctor. My doctor said she would only do a c-section if it was medically necessary or if thats what I wanted to do. She strongly suggested a vaginal birth if all is going well. I would find another doctor if I were you. 
My old doctors tried to force a c-section on me with my first pregnancy and I only had 1, he was late coming out and they tried to schedule me to induce and give me a c-section. So I just didn't show up and he came out that night 🤷
