Scared at night

Anyone else going through where there toddler is now scared of the room at night? He doesn't do it ever night it just started this last week, but he won't even put his stuffed animals in there in the morning when we're leaving the house because there scared of the room too. We took his video monitor down tonight which was just being used for his night time music (because that's the area he semi points to when we ask why he's scared) and he has a night light plus a tree that lights up. For xmas he is getting a new music thing that also does light.
