Why do I even cook? 🙄🙃

I know it's just a phase but I wish the picky eating would stop. I'm tired of having a food battle every meal 🙃🙃🙃🙃🤪🤪🤪🤪

This is why I refuse to make separate meals. Then if she doesn’t eat it, oh well! I just make sure she has one thing on her plate she will eat. I’ve also learned that white lies help. I told her that her potatoes were French fries today and she was all in 😂

We don’t keep snacks in the house. Sometimes he’s ravenous, sometimes he’s not. But he sits down at the table and is always served what everyone else is having. No snacks, just the food we prepare. And I’m ok if he wants to skip a meal, because usually the next one, he’ll eat it. No pickiness. I always remind myself that there are babies all over the world that don’t have the privilege of being picky.

Oh girl, it's just beginning! I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old too along with my 17 month old and it's worse now than when they were toddlers! 😂

This is exactly how I feel but my 17 month old is a great eater and my almost 3 year old is an awful eater

My daughter used to eat SO good. She’d eat anything and like a full plate of food too. Now out of no where she is so picky. Shakes her head “no” to almost everything, won’t try most new things or even things she’s eaten plenty of times before and usually loves! The only guarantee is fruit which obviously does not leave her feeling full whatsoever so she wants to snack all day. It’s a vicious cycle right now 😣

We follow Feeding Littles guidelines and it helps a lot. We also freeze things in small batches. Overall it’s working well.

I tried all morning to get her to eat her breakfast yesterday and my mil tried again while I went to the dentist. I got so tired of it I set a 6inch subway sub in front of her and she finally picked it up and ate that. I have a feeling we are starting more molars coming in.

Why do I even cook? 🙄🙃
