Please help

I was talking to this guy for months we where barley gonna meet. And yesterday i followed a girls makeup page on Instagram and i saw she had a client and i thought she was really pretty so i requested the girls account and saw she had "the guy i was talking to" as a mutual friend. So i request her and he messages me saying " you gotta stop" and i said i didnt do anything wrong? (I was so confused) then he says " stop tryna follow my friends " shes a friend from hs" so i told him is she ur gf or why are you over reacting so he unfollowed me on Instagram and removed me as a follower. And i told him he shouldn't of wasted my time telling me he wanted something serious 💔and he responded

"You wasted your own time" and i told him to fuck off w his friends im so heartbroken 💔i feel like thats his ex or he's talking to her
