LH question- please answer if you know! ♥️

I miscarried December 12th and my body has stopped bleeding since Sunday/Early Monday. I am still showing a positive pregnancy test (yesterday) and then today I took a ovulation test and it shows bright positive LH surge. Is this because of my hcg in my system still? I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on with my body at this point. I know it can take awhile. I have a follow up doctor appt January 13th.
