Trying naturally during natural fet?

Question

Has anyone tried during ovulation for a natural fet? They didn’t tell me to abstain and I’d be okay with twins if it happened. Obviously doing ivf because after a MMC we didn’t get pregnant for over a year but I did conceive naturally before. Just curious If anyone did this and only got one baby or got twins?

I was explicitly told not to try naturally during my natural FET cycle.  The reasoning (other than the risk of twins) is that since they are trying to control the environment they transfer the embryo into you don’t want anything to possibly interfere with that.  I would ask your clinic.  I have had success with my two natural fets so I’m glad I followed their advice.  If they hadn’t explicitly told me I probably still would have refrained because of the risk of twins and for me personally, I was focused on one healthy baby, and was afraid for a pregnancy with complications.

I was encouraged to have sex during my natural FET cycle. They said if I wanted to use protection I could but that the end goal was to get pregnant. Studies also show that sex the night before an ET can increase implantation odds. Though that night would be 5 dpo, so past the window of fertilization. 
It truly varies by clinic, but if you feel comfortable chasing that egg after assessing the risks associated with it, then go for it.

After having chemicals (2) & 1 MMC we decided to do FET so they could test our embryos. We knew something chromosomal had to be wrong. After pgs testing currently 34 weeks pregnant. Wishing you the best on your journey
