Pregnant on the first try

Hi y’all. I’m 31, my partner is 43. I was sure we’d have to spend at least some months trying but we nailed it. I’m excited but also a little anxious. Had I known we’d be so lucky I think I would’ve waited 6 months or so for COVID to calm down. Not to mention missing out on snowboarding which I know sounds really silly but was a major coping strategy and something I was looking forward to as the pandemic lifts. Is this ridiculous? Have others felt this kind of shock in the beginning?
