How are you handling childcare while in labor/recovery??

With Covid happening what are you guys with at least one babe doing for childcare while your in labor? Kinda nervous about leaving my toddler with his grandparents & then bringing him home to the new babe. They’re not being totally careless but definitely more so than we would like.

We’re asking them to keep him strictly at their house, no outings. Honestly, ideally either his aunt or grandma would quarantine in a hotel beforehand and keep him there for the day or two afterwards while we’re in the hospital since grandpa is working and won’t be able to stay home ... but idk if I’m being too crazy. I’m just worried about our newborns health.

So if you had a baby this last year, or having one sometime this upcoming year, did you have caregivers do anything extra or just dropped your other babes off and brought them home like normal?
