Why do women hate on other women for getting plastic surgery ??

I feel like there’s nothing wrong with plastic surgery but why do other women hate the idea so much ??

I doubt it's completely jealousy. It's probably mostly the stigma behind it and the bad reputation that if you need to change your appearance to be beautiful then there's something wrong with you. I find that quite hilarious and ironic though honestly since usually the women who say that are the ones with a full face of makeup every day. Not sure about other women but I'm only against the ones who get plastic surgery and then go online and pretend that it's completely natural/they were born with it because when people do that they always have a malicious intent to make others insecure or jealous.

I wouldn’t hate on anyone for that. But when you see people that overdue it to the point it actually looks like a health concern, I don’t and won’t support that. And it’s also a pet peeve when people lie. Like the kardashians. They have definitely had it done, they leg to butt to hip ratio is so unnatural it’s obvious. But young girls see this and it puts them down about themselves because they try so hard to achieve something that isn’t even natural. It’s just sad

I think people need to mind their own damn business unless the are absolutely flawless themselves in the first place. 
I couldn’t care less who has a problem with the fact I fully intend to get plastic surgery.
I used to be over 25 stone. I lost over 13 stone. I have a lot of excess skin on my upper arms, belly, backside and thighs. I also lost almost all my boobs with the rest of the weight. 
So instead of feeling ugly and covering up because of fat, now I feel like covering up because of excess skin/ being flat chested. 
Now that I’ve had my son, I fully intend to have a full body lift including a tummy tuck, arm tuck and boob job and 🖕🏻to whoever has a problem with it.

I don’t think it’s jealousy(or fully jealously) like some of the other commenters are saying. At least not for me. I personally am against the idea of plaster surgery. I mean people can do whatever they want but my view of someone will change if they get or have already gotten plastic surgery. I don’t hate women who have though. Some women will turn to plastic surgery to help with insecurities, which I think is the wrong direction to go. I will respect someone more is they go down the road of self love instead of taking the easy way out(also no guarantee they will love themselves). Some women do it for the male gaze which is a somewhat sad reason to get it done. Also it’s expensive and can be dangerous.

Jealousy. 4yrs I got a liposuction. My sister wanted one for the longest time. When I told her I got one. She got nasty with me calling me a plastic bitch. Figured she was just jealous

I honestly know I won’t get it. I try to be supportive of people who make the choice. But I honestly think it makes people look ugly sometimes. Like the silva twins used to be pretty now they are ugly.

I guess because it's easy to get morally indignant about, even if, it's not very common to actually believe people don't have the right to do whatever they want to their body. People body mod all the time. Other people talk bad about it no matter what- because they don't like it, it makes them uncomfortable, they think it's a waste. 
It might be a waste, that's why I don't do much of that. No tattoos, no plastic surgery, I don't get piercings, I stopped dyeing my hair. I just don't like to spend money on modifying, but, we all do it. Like shaving your legs & wearing makeup are body modification to some degree, just very surface, not invasive. 
I think changing your looks with surgery just seems "too far" or intense to some people, or that it's insulting to God or nature. But like, those ideas taken to extremes conflict with receiving medical care... so... should we take that seriously? I don't know. We are not anarcho-primitivists here or luddites, are we?
I think it's your body, and do whatever you want to it. It's not my business. 
But my frugal soul does cringe at the price sometimes!!

I think it has a bit of a bad reputation, and negative stigma around it, where people who have plastic surgery are seen as vain? and it can seem like it’s easily overdone so people no longer look natural? 
But I think as long as its done sparingly, to enhance and compliment how you look naturally then no problem 🤷‍♀️
