My son was sleep trained and since then he is usually all smiles when we lay him down at night and would even wave bye bye and blow kisses as we walked out the door, but now he’s screaming and keeps reaching towards his door when we try to place him in his crib at night.

Lately bed time has been earlier than we’d like (5:45) due to having 1 nap that is usually early and fairly short, sometimes ending at 12 or 12:30. We try to make nap time later but it is difficult when he wakes at 5:45am no matter his bedtime. We also have a consistent night time routine that has not changed.

I saw that he recently entered Leap 10, so maybe this is the problem?

Anyone else experiencing this? He basically cries/yells for 30-45 mins and then sleeps... it sucks.
