Naming argument with fiancé!

So we’ve been coming up with boy and girl names for our new baby 💕 We’ve agreed on a few and have battled on others. I initially agreed for our son to be a jr if we have a boy but the hubby decided he didn’t want to go that route anymore. I’ve recently been thinking about the importance of family lineage. Do other mother’s out there feel like they are erasing their entire family lineage from their child’s name and life by not passing down their last name into the child’s name? I’ve recently just felt the whole husband taking the last name space has its way of erasing a woman’s entire family history. Am I being extreme 😂? At the end of the day we agreed to keep my family last name as a second middle name for our kids. I think hyphenation is a little too much. What do you think???
