Offering bottle every 2.5 hours
Right now my almost 4 month old is eating 5 oz bottles every 2.5 hours. But she never really shows obvious signs of hunger. She sleeps through the night so In order for her to get all daily oz in she needs 5 oz every 2.5 hours. I just offer her a bottle and she always takes it. Should I not be offering and wait until she is showing obvious signs of hunger? I don’t like waiting until she’s screaming for a bottle but I never really notice her smacking her lips or sticking her tongue out like they say to watch for. And she’s always got her hands her mouth so that’s not a good way to tell if she’s hungry. She would probably go 3/3.5 hours between bottles if I didn’t offer it sooner but then she won’t get all her ozs in before bed. Idk how much she weighs since we haven’t had her 4 month check up yet but I feel like she’s growing normally I just don’t want to be over feeding her by offering bottles too often and too soon. I’m also probably way over thinking it just kind of wondering what other mommas do.
