How did your first respond to your next baby 🍼?

My oldest was 4 when we brought home her baby sister. She cried tears of joy the moment she saw her. 
I think the hardest thing for my oldest was realizing and adjusting to the fact that that baby took SO MUCH of my time and attention. I tried my best to still give her the attention she was used to but its hard when you're recovering from birth, sleep deprived, trying to care for a newborn, and trying to deal with a jealous older sibling. 
Good news is that it gets better. My girls are now 5 years and 20 months. They still have their moments of fighting but they play constantly and are inseparable.

He has his moments of jealousy which is to be expected but he is also absolutely smitten. Kisses her all the time and cry’s to hold her 😅😍

Mine was 2.5 when our second was born. He was so apathetic toward the baby, didn’t really acknowledge him, didn’t touch him for a long time. He was never angry, never really jealous, never excited, just blah, it was actually kinda depressing for me. I would’ve taken a jealous outburst over the blah, I wanted some kind of acknowledgement. The baby’s 18 months now and they get along for the most part, although they’re not super close or anything, I hope maybe that’ll change but I don’t really expect it to.
