Birth Control??

Question

So I have my six week check up coming soon, and I am sure they will ask me about which birth control I want.
I have been on the pill since I was 15, but we are for sure done having babies so I want something a little more secure lol
I wasn’t really thinking about this as I was supposed to get my tubes tied during my csection, but wasn’t able to due to complications. So now I’m unsure what birth control to choose...
I have heard such horror stories about the IUD so I am scared to choose that, even though my doctor suggested it
Any suggestions from you ladies??

So my husband and I decided that we are done having children, but rather than me having my tubes tied, which could cause other issues for me, we decided for him to get a vasectomy. 
After we had our son, we found out that I am allergic to nonprogesterone birth control pills and birth control pills with progesterone. 
There is a good chance with my pcos, I will most likely be put back on metformin to regulate my cycle, so a vasectomy is best for our family.

I honestly think the iud is better than the implant which i heard women can bleed for months, I had both the skyla and then Mirena. I didn't want the copper one that one I've heard horror stories about

Vasectomy? Is that something that you are discussing with your partner? It’s a quick and easy outpatient process. That’s likely the route we’ll take when we’re done having kids. 
Prior to getting pregnant, I had the hormonal IUD. I hated it being put in and getting taken out, but otherwise it was nice to not have to think about it. I also get migraines with auora so estrogen pills aren’t an option for me, although it was my favorite form of birth control. After the progesterone only pills gave me all the symptoms of a period without getting one, I switched to the IUD.
But I would seriously discuss a vasectomy with your SO if you guys are done.

I had the implant after having my son and loved it. Easy and painless insertion and removal. I didn’t bleed at all while on it except one period right before I had it removed. I liked being able to just easily feel for it to make sure it was still in the proper place. I’ll be getting it again once I have my 6 weeks appointment in a few weeks.

I’m getting the progesterone shot, it’s every three months

I got my tubes tied during my c section. We have three kids (10, 18 months, 6 days) and are done. My husband was going to get a snip snip but since I was t able to have a vaginal birth, we just closed up shop while in surgery
