On December 23 at 12:56 pm I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Here is my birth story.. Sorry so long..

On December 20th I started having contractions. They where not very strong or consistent. Lasted until December 23rd at 5:30 a.m. they started to get closer together and a lot stronger I knew then I was in active labor because they were 5 minutes apart I called my S/o from work at 7:00 a.m. and told him it was time. He got home around 7:30 I had already gotten my other 2 kids up and their bags packed to go to my grandmother's house. We got our bag packed when we got home and headed out the door by this time the contractions where 5 minutes apart for more than 2 hrs. We dropped the kids off around 8:30 am and headed to the hospital. When we get to the hospital they checked and I was 4cm dilated. They said they where going to keep me. Get to our room and they start an IV and with out my permission and knowledge started a bag of pitocin. By 10:30am the contractions where less than 2 minutes apart. I couldn't take the pain anymore due to no breathing time in between the contractions. I begged for an epidural (mind you with my first daughter I was in labor for 12 1/2 hrs with no pain meds or epidural) they finally gave me an epidural around 11 am. I was 8 1/2 cm dilated when he started and when he was done I was 9cm. I stayed at 9cm for 2hrs untill the doctor came in and broke my water. As soon as he broke my water I pushed for 4 minutes and then my beautiful daughter was born. She was 6lb 12.8 oz 20 1/2 in long
