Leap four appetite?

Question

Who else’s babes lost some appetite during leap four? Our girl typically has about 26/27 ounces a day, so not huge to begin with, but she’s 50th percentile and gaining well. Today I’ve struggled to get even 23 into her. Just doesn’t seem like much. I know it’s a phase. Just looking for some mommas dealing with the same thing?

I don’t keep up with “leaps” and such, but my son fights to eat AT ALL. If we just didn’t feed him he would be fine...well, he’d get fussy as if he’s hungry but when we try to feed him he screams at won’t take it..we have to be strategic and get him to fall asleep in our arms and sneak a bottle into his mouth to replace his paci so he will eat...if we go a while and he hasn’t eaten, we will try and give him a bottle while he’s happy, he won’t take it and screams. If we wait for him to show signs of hunger, like won’t take paci, or settle etc. he still won’t take it. We’ve tried pumped milk, different types of formula and nothing changes. It’s a full time job getting him to eat.

Same here!!! Boy is also teething so definitely fighting to eat! Seems super distracted and moves a lot even when he does eat lol

My son has been eating very less for the past couple of days too. He used to take 3oz every 2 to 3 hours. But its a struggle to get him to take at least 2oz now. He is fine though. Just doesn’t want to eat. 🤷‍♀️

Off topic, but she’s so cute! My baby girl has that toy too, and she loves it!

Yes same here! Last week I could barely get 18-19oz in her for 3 days straight.  It came back on the 4th day.  I do notice this is definitely during leaps!

Mine was the opposite. He acted like I was starving him lol he's always been a hungry guy but even more so especially in the fourth leap
