Am I a horrible person?

I feel like this is making me a horrible person
A family member is pregnant and really ones one particular gender and I’m hoping she has the opposite cos why do some people get everything they want!? And just have life so easy 😫

Not horrible but petty for sure. 
How do you know she “gets everything she wants” and “has it so easy”? Just because she’s pregnant and you’re still TTC? 
Gender disappointment is a real and valid thing. I’m sorry you’re jealous but this isn’t going to help you

That’s just a weird way to think about someone... If you’re TTC and are just upset that you’re not pregnant when this person is then that’s ok, because that’s normal to be disappointed, but to hope for their disappointment is a little off putting if I’m being honest

It's fine honey, you're entitled to your own feelings and your feelings are valid. Just that feeling that way probably will not make you feel any happier. Instead, maybe focus on yourself and the things or thoughts that make you happy. Take a break from all these pregnancy announcements and people for awhile.
