Pregnancy vs PMS symptoms

For any ladies on this app who have been pregnant before, I'm curious to know if before you got your BFP, whether you thought AF was about to arrive instead as I've heard PMS and pregnancy symptoms are very similar.

I'm 14dpo but AF hasn't shown up yet... I have all the usual symptoms e.g. cramps, but a part of me still dares to hope my period won't arrive. 🤞

Is there anyone out there who was genuinely expecting AF when they finally had their BFP? Been driving myself crazy since 5po with symptom spotting! TIA and baby dust to everyone on their ttc journeys 😘
