Can’t see cervix from white CM?!

I am 10DPO today. I tried to check my cervix with a speculum to see if it was open or closed. It is so high up that I can’t reach it with a finger now! So that’s why I wanted to try a speculum. However - I can’t see my cervix from all the white CM that was up there!! I have nothing on my panties, yet my cervix is flooded with it.

Is this more to do with an upcoming period, or possibly a pregnancy??
