Low progesterone ?

Hi ladies! I got my blood work done and HCG looks great and was good news especially after a chemical in October. Did anyone else have low progesterone level? Dr recommend medication which I googled has some nasty side effects and restrictions until week 12. Just trying to see if anyone else is in same boat!

I have been prescribed progesterone up until 14 weeks along with both of my pregnancies to help prevent miscarriages since my family has a history of them and the only common denominator is low hormone levels.

This is my third pregnancy, apparently I have low progesterone but I have had two healthy children. They started me on 100mg progesterone vaginal suppositories. Its better to be safe than sorry. Progesterone can only help in pregnancy. Some of the side effects are more geared toward non pregnant woman on fertility tx.

I always have low progesterone. This is my fourth pregnancy with one successful pregnancy which I took oral progesterone for the first trimester. I started it this pregnancy as soon as I got a positive test. The only side effect I had last and this time is drowsiness so I take it at night.

I was put on them in my last pregnancy with my youngest and he is a healthy 2 yr old 🥰. I didn’t have any side effects, just normal pregnancy symptoms.
