Babies/Small children should NEVER be left alone with pets
Just saw an article that a Dad woke up on NYE from a nap to find his 4 month old was smothered to death by the family dog. A dog they had for 8 years and was apparently a "big" dog.
Absolutely tragic situation.
But it made me think of how a lot of people allow their babies and small children around pets unsupervised. And all those videos i see of babies napping with the dog or cat (obviously with the video they are supervised. But who knows if it's a habit they have outside of just taking a cute video)
