TSH/Levothyroxine/TTC and timescales

Came off the contraceptive pill in March 2019. Been TTC ever since. Was referred to fertility specialists in June 2020.

Although not technically hypothyroid the fertility specialist recommend I start levothyroxine 25mcg as my TSH level was within ‘normal’ range but higher than what is generally needed for conception and normal pregnancy (<2). My level was 5.38.

After 6 weeks my level had went UP to 10.78 🥺 I had my dose doubled to 50mcg and my next level 6 weeks later was 3.91. I was then told to start taking 75mcg. It has been 3 weeks and due my bloods to be done next week.

My long question is who has been on levothyroxine for this reason? How long did it take for your levels to fall under 2? And how long after that did you conceive or did you have to try another option?
