Late ovulation - did it affect your test?

Feeling down - ovulated very late this cycle (day 23) and 10 DPO with a negative test. Technically my period is due in 4 days according to the app, but would it actually be later since I ovulated so late? Could it still be too early to test? Also no symptoms 😢 so maybe I just have to accept I’m not pregnant.

I’m in the exact same situation as you. Except I got a positive on CB Advanced on cycle day 12 which seemed way to early for my 30 day cycle. Also I didn’t feel very “ovulation like”. So I kept testing with Easy @home OPK. Got discouraged and stopped testing by cycle day 18, as I still didn’t get a positive. I feel like I shoulda just kept testing. So if I go by CB I’m 13dpo and negative pregnancy test. But my period isn’t even due until the 10th. SO CONFUSED!!

Your period generally comes 14 days after ovulation, so it sounds about right based on what you’re saying. Ovulating late has no affect on your fertility, people ovulate early/late most cycles. Still early to test

This happened to me last cycle, I didn’t get pregnant because I ovulated a whole week after I normally would. My period came a day earlier than usual and I have a regular cycle. I’d expect your period to come when it normally but keep testing because you never know. You’re not out until af shows. Our bodies all move to its own rhythm.
