6 days late... negative tests??

Question

Been taking tests from a few days before AF.. all negative I'm now 6 days late and so confused! I think I ovulate late this cycle but wouldn't period still come by now? Has this happened to anyone who went on to get a positive?

It came shortly after I posted... I'm never late so was very confusing but I guess the tests would have shown up by now if I was pregnant..
