I am having a panic attack I think. I have always been overly cautious about my hair. Well today I went to a salon that had pretty great reviews and realized I got the new girl. She had zero products at her station. Like it looked like she had been there a week ( I know length of time at a new salon doesn’t matter, but the fabulous reviews might not have been including her)

Well I showed her a picture of what I wanted (some caramel balayage highlights) on top of my already died hair. She said no problem it can be done: well my hair now looks like I got Grey colored highlights throughout. She used foils which I have had balayage before and I don’t think they used them that time. Anyways my hair looks pretty bad, and looks absolutely nothing like what I asked for. I’m freaking out. I am someone who never speaks up for myself or likes controversy. So I didn’t pitch a fit but I spent $170, and my hair is literally white and snapping off in places. Wedding in 4 months.

Any advise from hairstylists out there. Or someone who has had a similar experience. I am terrified that my hair is going to be so damaged I’m going to have to get it cut and I was NOT envisioning super short hair for my wedding day.
