Does it sound like I’m asexual?

I’ve been with my husband for a long time and when we first got together we had sex a lot. But we had a kid, started working, doing adult things. And it’s really seldom that I’m in the mood for sex. It was probably after I had our daughter six years ago. But we would still do it every other day. He’s made jokes about me being asexual before and I’ve looked it up but I’m just not sure if I fall into that category? Like I don’t mind sex and sometimes I do like to have sex but again, if someone told me I could never have sex again I wouldn’t care. It only bothers me lately because my husband used to be pretty sexual but he too has lately not really been interested in sex. So no we maaaaaybe have sex once a week or twice a week. And we’re fairly young. Im 23 and he’s 27. I feel like I should be hornier as a 23 year old right?

Having sex twice a week while being a parent of (I’m assuming) a young child sounds pretty normal. I wouldn’t consider you asexual... you sound like tired parents lol.

Asexual has to do with sexual attraction, not sex drive. If you’re concerned about your libido, bring it up to your doctor and ask about hormone levels. I believe women actually tend to have higher sex drives as they age as opposed to in their youth.

Low or no libido could be a sign of a lot of things. It could be caused by stress, exhaustion, hormonal issues. If you still find men sexually attractive, then you’re not asexual. It’s definitely worth discussing with your doctor, though.
A lot of medications can cause loss of sex drive, including birth control. This actually happened to me. The manufacturers of my pill changed their formulation slightly (changed from regular tablets to chewable tablets). Whatever they changed caused me to have no sex drive whatsoever. I was about 23/24 at the time. I thought it was stress or anxiety. It caused a lot of issues for me and my husband. I went to a therapist for years to try to fix it. I come off the pill to try to get pregnant, BOOM, it was like someone turned on a light switch.

It’s normal not to be in the mood for sex everyone’s hormones are different. I’m the same way. I took these pills called Maca root and they helped increase my sex drive and now I’m pregnant! Lol if that’s something u wouldn’t mind trying i would buy them if you want to fix it.

This sounds like just being tired, busy parents than on the asexual spectrum. Though there is a spectrum. 
But really only you can determine what your sexuality is. If you don’t think your asexual than you’re not asexual no matter if your husband jokes about it (which isn’t cool cuz asexuality is definitely experienced by people and shouldn’t be the butt of a joke).

I feel you on this. I’m 25, no kids, and if someone told me I could never have sec again I would be okay with that. It could be asexually or a hormone imbalance. I’ve recently been trying natural remedies to increase my drive I guess

Personally, it just sounds like you’re an exhausted parent. I feel the same way. Also, once a week is a healthy sex life in my opinion. My husband and I also used to have sex a lot but now I can take it or leave it after two kids. I’m tired. I wanna lay down and read a book 🤣
