Help! Am I carrying wide?

You wouldn’t be able to tell from this picture... but I am so self conscious about my bump. I see all these women posting pictures of their beautiful bumps on here and I cant help but compare. I feel so wide and round. I wonder if people can even tell Im pregnant?! Most days I look like I just ate way too much.
I know everyone is different, but I would love some reassurance from ladies who may not have that perfect round basketball bump!
This is my first pregnancy and I have a low lying placenta. Not sure if that makes a difference!

Are you pregnant with a girl? I had a midwife that swore she could tell the gender of the unborn baby by looking at the shape of the mum’s bump. We waited until birth to find out the gender of our baby but she predicted a boy and was spot on.
She told me if your bump is wider than the Mum than it’s a girl. She predicted I was carrying a boy because from the back I still had a waist and almost didn’t look pregnant, I carried him all out the front (it literally did look like I had a basketball tapped to my front but it wasn’t cute!) 
I have no idea what gender has to do with bump shape but my midwife seemed to be able to call it 🤷‍♀️
Also to answer your question you do look to be carrying slightly wide but you definitely look pregnant!

All bodies are different and carry babies differently. We’re all beautiful!!! I know it’s hard not to compare but just know and focus on growing that beautiful baby!

You are cute with your little belly! I think most pregnant women look at other pregnant women and compare themselves to them but that’s okay! No two are alike and that’s okay! ￼

I have what you would consider that basketball bump BUT I can easily tell you are pregnant! Your belly is precious and I doubt anyone thinks it is because you ate a meal. I know it's hard but just like those basketball bellies, your's is doing the same work and is just as worthy :)
