Sex during pregnancy

I’m 17w5day..hubby and I tried to have some fun couple of days ago but he said he felt something weird in me, and just stopped right there. After that he doesn’t wanna do anything and is just scared that we might hurt the baby. I told him he can’t hurt the baby but whatever he felt in me just shut him

What could it be? Does sex feel this different in pregnancy? Is it normal for husbands to feel weird in there while you are pregnant

Sex was fine during first trimester but 2nd trimester just messed it up. Anyone experienced that? I have very low sex drive so I’m ok not having it but I feel bad for him as it completely shut him off
