Is it harder to conceive after first baby?

Does having a baby make it harder to conceive again? Or does your body go back to normal like before. Weird question I know I’m 11 months postpartum

I’ve heard a lot of stories about it being harder the second time but I know a couple people who got pregnant immediately with each child. 
We got pregnant right away with our first. First cycle. It took 11 months with the second. I think a lot of it for us was me being in my head. With the first I never expected it to happen so quickly so had no thought about it other than we were no longer preventing. With the second, I kept up with my fertile window and paid closer attention to my body. I took a few ovulation tests. Now I’m 8 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old.

It took us a year to get pregnant with our first, and only one try for our second. I think I was way more aware of my body and my fertility which helped, and I didn't think it would work so fast so I had no stress 😅

My first I got pregnant the first month, my second I got pregnant the first unprotected time and same with this one.. I am super fertile though lol! I’ve had birth control for a year and a half and still got pregnant fast after taking it out!

I got pregnant within 1-3 months with all three of my pregnancies

Not necessarily.  I'm still breastfeeding which effected me by not having periods for the year. If I'm not ovulating then yes the next baby will be harder to conceive  but some people get periods and start ovulating straight away. 
Generally speaking. No it's not harder.

I don't think that there is evidence that it makes it easier, but I know for us we conceived our very first try with our second whenever I was 10 months postpartum.

I personally found I conceived easier and quicker with the second. 
I was breastfeeding when I fell pregnant with #2 when #1 was 10 months old.
