My August baby just started daycare. She went when she was younger but I quit working when we had our youngest. I just got one of the best jobs in a small towns and I start Thursday so I went ahead and put them in daycare so if there was a problem the first few days I could go get them and I could get them early. I’m trying to get them used to it before they’re there all day.

I dropped them off yesterday and she was so excited! That’s all she talked about all weekend that she was going to school, she’s a big girl in school.

I picked her up yesterday afternoon and she was crying. She hugged my and just balled her eyes out. She said she missed me and that she didn’t want to go back. The teacher said she asked for me all day and just said she wanted to hold mommy all day.

This morning she woke up and I said let’s get ready for school and she lost it! I don’t want to go I want to stay with mom. Please stay home. All morning she cried and cried.

When I dropped her off I gave my youngest to her teacher and she was excited but my oldest grabbed me and cried and didn’t want to stay. I was heart broken but but I made her stay. The teacher grabbed her hand and she was fighting her to get back to me. I could hear her crying from outside...

What should I do? Will she adjust or is the tears and the begging to stay home just going to be out mornings from now on.
