So backstory;

My fiancé bought a Roku smart TV from one of his friends, well his card number was in the TV so I changed it to my card Incase I wanted to get HULU or if I bought any subscriptions. Well I had to put the previous persons passcode in the TV and I didn’t have it. So I had my fiancé ask his friend and his friend said “he forgot it” so I just kinda forgot about it and just watch our Netflix. So, about a month ago I see $10 taken out of my bank acct for starz which I don’t have..... so I tried calling but due to COVID they aren’t taking calls over the phone, so a couple days ago, there was another subscription for stars, and then $70 for HULU LL whatever that is, and then another $4 fee for Hulu. So I called Hulu and got through and they removed the charge and said it was under my fiancé’s friends last name. So I told my fiancé to tell his friend since our TVs are obviously connected he needs to put his card number in his TV and figure out the passcode so we don’t have to worry about this anymore. Well it turned into a huge argument because my fiancé doesn’t understand how his friends subscriptions are coming out of my account, and thinks maybe our son was playing with the remote. Which our son doesn’t even go in our room. So yesterday I asked if I could use his debit card, and I put it in the TV so I could prove a point and maybe he’d understand that I’m not paying his friends monthly bills and then just MAYBE he’d actually do something about it, so afterwards I said “When random payments start coming out of your account it’s because your friend is subscribing to more shit” so he instantly goes and factory resets the TV and said how fucked up it was that I would do that. Like first of all you gave me your card and didn’t care what I was buying but then you suddenly have a problem when it’s paying for your friends stupid subscriptions because he won’t remove our cards. So now neither of our cards are hooked up to the TV thankfully but he’s pissed because I put his card on it. I thought it was a good way for him to get my point though since he wouldn’t help me out by telling his shitty friend to put his own fucking card on his stupid subscriptions 🤷🏻‍♀️
