Toddler ear infection ?

Im pretty sure my son may have an ear infection. Do you take your kids to the Dr every time or treat at home? Im a new mom and dont know if it requires an appt every time you suspect an ear infection? 
He has no fever. Just extra fussy, waking up at night constantly crying. I dont think its teething.

I go in for every single one. Don't want to chance hearing loss or anything worse. Also, they prescribe the different levels of intervention and then the child still may need tubes in the ear.

My baby gets them all the time, and Tylenol is our best friend. Every 4-6 hours, make sure you time it right so that you can give it to them before bed to help them rest. If it gets to the point where Tylenol isn't working, take them in! Good luck. 💕

Ear infections are so painful, I get one myself  at least once a year. So I wouldn’t want my baby suffering through that pain..I would take my child to Dr every time to get it treated.

I definitely bring in my kids when I suspect a ear infection. Tylenol will help with the pain but they need a antibiotic to get rid of the infection if not then it will get worse and more painful.

I personally will take them in. Antibiotics will help get rid of it and they won’t be in pain anymore. My 6 month old just had one and within 2 days of the antibiotic she was back to her normal self. If it’s not treated it can rupture
