What is happening 😞

So I got off birth control at the end of September 2020. My period came back roughly a week later. 3 perfectly regular cycles. And then nothing. I’m 9 days late as of now. I have taken 10+ pregnancy tests since January 3, 2021, and they were all definitely negative. If I don’t get a period by the second week of February, I am going my doctor. Ttc #1. It’s so hard to stay hopeful when I don’t even understand what my body is doing/trying to tell me. Any advice?

I thought my cycles were normal when I first came off the pill (30 days positive ovulation test each month) but I was getting pretty light periods then after 3 months of that I had a 35 day cycle which I think was like my "reset" in a way because my cycles are now 27 days which is what they were before I went on the pill and my periods are back to normal

I had 3 normal cycles after birth control and then all hell broke loose with my cycles. It was like my body realized I wasn't on the pill anymore and freaked out. My doctor said it was pretty common and to just wait it out. Things eventually straighten themselves out on their own.

I completely missed 3 periods for no reason when we started TTC. The day I went to get blood drawn to check my hormones, I got my period again. There was no explanation. It just happened. I had a perfect cycle for 12 years prior to this.
