Advice: how to go from friends to dating

Hey everyone! So... I am looking for some advice from some Christian ladies. This last year I have started a group for young conservatives in my area (it’s called tpusa) I’ve met a lot of like minded people and made some good Christian friends. Me and 6 other people run the group. I am kind of interested in one of the guys who helps run the group. He’s a really great Christian ad conservative, but the problem is I haven’t gotten the chance to know him very well because he’s busy. One of my good Christian guy friends is trying to set us up.

I have never actually had a real relationship before and I need some advice.

I think I am ready for a relationship, but is it wrong for me to pursue one? I just don’t want to be trying to take my life into my own hands because I’m not patient or something...

I know God’s timing is perfect and everyone says that love will come when you least expect it. But does that mean I should sit around and wait? Or should I try to get to know him better and let him know I’m interested? How do I even know if he is interested?
