When will you buy baby items?

I’m not having a baby shower, but I’ve created a registry so that I can get a completion discount. I’m curious when everyone is planning to buy all of their baby items? I’m only 25 weeks and I think I have a good grasp on what I want/need, but I’m also afraid I might change my mind if I buy things too soon. Right now I still have energy for organizing, but I’m worried It’ll go away slowly as I get further along😬. I’m also high risk for preterm labor due to my low PAPP A. Do you think buying things around 30-32 weeks is too soon?

I’m 15 weeks and we’ve been buying little things (some clothes, pacifiers, small toys) for almost a month already. We’ll probably start buying the bigger stuff around 18-20 weeks.

12 weeks and just started buying some little stuff and looking to choose the specific big stuff we'll want. I'm aiming to have the bare necessities by 24-28 weeks as I'm also somewhat likely to have pre-term labor, but it's still a huge unknown.

This is my 3rd baby and I started buying after my 12 week scan I have pram Moses basket and stand and bouncer and steriliser so far waiting until my gender scan next Saturday to start buying colours ☺️

I buy something out of every paycheck since I was 12 weeks lol. We aren’t having a shower either due to the pandemic but IM going to post my registry online for friends or family who want to buy. Then I’ll use the completion discount to get what’s left. But I doubt there will be much left to get by then waiting until 32 weeks to buy anything is a bit risky if you ask me. You could go in labor early. And you just don’t alwYs have the energy to do stuff that late in pregnancy. If you start buying early you can prepare as you go

I started buying as soon as i was pregnant with my first and i started before i got pregnant with my second. Since most coupons dont start until youre like 32-36 weeks ive always just done everything before hand. We are 21 weeks now and weve purchased almost everything we need clothes and furniture wise
