So we didn't knowcwhat the garter toss was so we looked it up and the ones we saw in videos the people were very out there we are more quiet and shy and awkward, should we still do it or no

It was not a choice we went with. I didn’t want him going up my dress in front of everyone like that. We did do the bouquet toss.

We thought it was a fun tradition. Would I do it now as a woman in my mid thirties? No, but when we were young and one of the first to get married of our friends, it was fun to toss it out to the single dudes. My best friend’s now-husband caught it and she caught the bouquet so they had fun with it.
