Today was the big day we have been waiting for for 4 long weeks!!

After our NIPT came back high risk trisomy13 we had to wait until I’m 16 weeks for the amnio.

It was hard-the weeks past in a blur...

Today they did a big anatomy scan and baby looks perfect. Growing right on schedule (actually measuring 16w6d) and nothing indicates Baby might be sick.

So we did the amnio to get a full picture. It was quite surprising to get that needle pricked in my womb without even local anesthetization. But it was more uncomfortable than painful.

Now we have to wait 2 more weeks for the results. Most likely our baby has a mosaic T13 or maybe the NIPT was false positive or it’s just the placenta who is effected.

we keep up our hope and pray for our little baby.
