Lovenox!

Okay ladies, I just wanted to laugh on myself a little bit because I feel so incredibly ridiculous now. I’m almost 5 weeks with 3 prior losses and my fertility specialist had me put on Lovenox and tonight was the first night. I read so many forums, read webmd, etc you know you just immediately research on your phone. 😅 I have anxiety disorder and had a huge panic attack when about to give myself a shot. I read horrible things online (this is why you should never look online LOL). Well, I iced for about 20 minutes before my shot... didn’t feel a thing. I know as time goes on my belly will get more sore/bruised but I feel so ridiculous right now for having such a fit. 🤭

Here’s my tip:

Ice! If you’re just starting Lovenox also I truly think that icing the part of my belly where I was giving myself the shot is what saved it all. Couldn’t feel the needle, couldn’t feel the medicine at all, I didn’t feel a thing! Just iced for 20-30min beforehand and iced a few minutes after.

I know the anxiety of it can be really hard to get through but after it was over it was no biggie! Trust me I know that’s a lot easier said than done because I was seriously terrified after reading online! ❤️
