Too early to test?

I've tested with 3 early pregnancy tests. I'm currently 5 days before my period. All three were negative. I'm a little sad but I also remember with my first that I got 3 negative tests while I was 5 weeks pregnant and then boom a positive. Says works 6 days sooner but I tried yesterday and two today. Both clearblue and first response. Negatives on both brands.

Could I just be testing too early? We've been trying for a second baby and I'm hopeful this month could be the month.

Has anyone else had that with early pregnancy tests? Help :(
