How long did it take you to get over gender dissapointment?

If you ever had it, that is......  I did this just for fun, but it made me realize I might be facing some gender dissapointment if it is a boy.  I know it doesn't matter, healthy baby is what matters.  I just wasn't expecting to feel this way.

I really wanted a girl, but as soon as she announced it was a boy, my heart busted at the seams with love. It just didn't matter to me anymore. He's one now and the sweetest mommas boy.

it was maybe a few days. And it wasn’t so much that I was disappointed about having a boy, it just was that I really wanted a girl and never saw myself as a boy mom. But I quickly got excited about having a boy and I can’t wait for him to get here. Well, I can, bc we still have a lot to do lol, but I’m so excited
