Should consumers know what political affiliation a brand has before purchasing their products?

So a few days ago, the founder of takingcarababies was exposed for contributing to Trumps campaign. If you are not familiar with Takingcarababies, the founder Cara, is a neonatal nurse who helps parents with sleeping tips for their babies. You can purchase her courses. A few other parenting pages I follow have unfollowed her as well.

Should potential customers know this sort of information? A lot of people who purchased her courses have demanded a refund bc “how can you take cara babies while giving your money to an administration who puts them in cages”.
