IUI before ovulation??

Question

Took trigger and there will be 14 hrs between now and my IUI. Nurse said I’ll be ovulating after my IUI and to have sex following IUI. Anyone do this and have success? I have 4 follicles...2 mature 2 more close behind.

I did the BD 2 days prior to IUI, on the night of and the next day following IUI. Worked both times! On the other IUIs we were lazy and didn’t BD so can’t hurt!

I did and was told to have sex after. My IUI date would’ve fallen on a Sunday and the fertility clinic does t open then. I got pregnant. Almost 23 weeks now.
