Is spotting for 2 weeks after 4 months of nexplanon ?

Hey All 
I got nexplanon in august and got my period after 2 weeks. It was heavy bleeding for 3 weeks and light spotting for next week. Doc said it’s normal. Again after 4 months .. I’m experiencing spotting continuously for over 2 weeks? Is this normal ? Should I take this thing off my body? Suggestions please !!

Yes, this is completely normal with Nexplanon. Progestin only methods like Nexplanon are most known for causing irregular bleeding/spotting patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. And, such irregular bleeding is especially common during the first 6 months.

Is spotting for 2 weeks after 4 months of nexplanon ?
