When did you officially drop naps?

My daughter will be 3 in April and she is beginning to hate nap time. I did quiet time today instead to keep the peace and she seemed okay with it...although she didn’t stop talking throughout quiet time 😂. She is with my mom all week while I work and refuses to nap at my mom’s now (she’d rather play), but she was napping on weekends with us. I was trying to hold onto the naps to give us a break since we also have a 3 month old. So, how old did you drop naps for your LO?

My daughter (almost 3) does quiet time in her room for 90 minutes. We still dim the lights and put on her noise machine, but she doesn’t usually sleep. She mostly plays with her toys and “reads”. The nap started disappearing for good around 2.5 (though she’s never been a great napper, even as a baby).
I’ve tried just flat out skipping it altogether because I figured she isn’t sleeping anyway, but that is always a mistake. She’s so fried before dinner when I’ve tried that. She still needs the quiet, alone time even if it isn’t sleep.

My 4 year old still takes a 2 hour nap every day. He generally will tell us that he is tired around 1 p.m. but he is also an early riser (5-6 a.m.) for some reason.

My almost-4yr-old still takes a nap every day. Once in a blue moon he'll fight it, but I make sure he gets lots of activity and food on his belly before nap time so that he sleeps like a baby for 1-2 hrs every afternoon.  I imagine we'll drop the routine in the next year but it's so good for kids, I'll keep it going as long as he seems to need them.

The summer before first grade. My kids kept nap time all the way through kindergarten. They attended a half day program, and then came home to eat lunch and nap for an hour or two.

My five year old takes naps every once in a while. When I’m tired or she’s just moody and whiny. But I’m going to start working from home so I think naps will be mandatory while I’m working to help get me through the day

He kind of grew out of them on his own around 3.5.

I voted wrong. I put 1-2, but he was actually nearly 2.5 (about 6 weeks ago). He still naps in the car if we’re out in the afternoon, and sleeps fine at night even with the car nap, but we don’t put him down for a sleep anymore. I miss that quiet time in the afternoon, but he was fighting it, then would fight bedtime as well

My son dropped his naps a week after his second birthday. My daughter dropped her last nap shortly after her little sister was born. So around 19/20 months

My 5yo, almost 6, takes naps on the weekends. Not forced, but 99% of quiet time results in naps.  
Most of the time, my SO(30) and I (24) will take naps on the weekend too unless there's too much to do 😆😴

Stopped a few months before he was 3. But they still do quite time in kindergarten/daycare.
