Anyone else ok if Baby comes late or on time?

Question

While I'm somewhat eager to meet my baby, I don't want to rush things. I'd be more than happy if my bambino came on time or late. I think part of it comes due to not knowing what to expect regarding labor and pain and part is out of being a nervous first time parent.

I'm due 12/13 and want him now. I don't want to rush things either but my goodness is this pregnancy thing brutal. I'm just not one of those women that like being pregnant. I haven't really liked it since the third week of finding out. I could tolerate it mid pregnancy but even then it was so damn hot and I got bad chaffing in between my thighs while wearing dresses but didn't wanna wear shorts because I never seen so much cellulite lol. I've been so embarrassed of the effects pregnancy has had on my body. But I guess I could complain and complain. I know having my baby will have made it all worth it. But either way- I still want my baby now. I wanna start the process of getting my body and energy back.

Im due 12/27. I want her out ASAP! Call me selfish I guess I can't stand being pregnant this time! My first was right on time and I had no issues whatsoever with him.

With my first, I had a membrane sweep at 38weeks since I was almost 4cm dilated.  This time around, I'm currently 38weeks 4days with baby#2. As much as I would love for him to be here, I'm hoping to make it to 40+ weeks. I want my body to go into labor completely natural, all on it's own. Unless of course for some reason, medical wise only, that would cause me to be induced.

I'm a FTM and want him cooked enough... But I'm due on New Year's Eve. So I want him born in 2015. That being said I just don't want him born on.... Christmas Eve (MIL birthday) or Christmas or lol New Year's Eve. Anything In between is fine by me from dec 17 (38 weeks) -December 30. Lol wishful thinking of coarse.

I'm 39 weeks today but it's my bday so anytime starting tomorrow I would be just fine. Tomorrow I'm also getting my first membrane sweep at the doctors. Sweep has a 1 in 9 chances success rate every time you do it. If it works you go into labour in 24 h. I will try it at 39 and then again at 40 weeks. I'm in no hurry but I do want to avoid getting to 41 weeks so induction doesn't come into play. Good luck mamas!!

I'm ok if she comes on time. Not too uncomfortable yet (nearly 37 weeks) and still magaging to work and come home and tidy or organise stuff! I'd rather she comes in a few weeks as getting new carpets soon (I know. Should've done that months ago..! ) and then I can arrange her nursery furniture etc and I want to have my Christmas tree up too!! Don't want her to be three days late (Christmas day!) wouldn't mind early Jan though as the occasion would be separate from Christmas ..

I wanted my first two out at like 35 weeks, this one I'm okay with hanging out awhile. I'm 37 weeks and had my other two at 38 weeks. Having a baby in a week scares me! Lol

Thanks for asking this question. I was starting to think I was the only one okay with waiting. My EDD is Dec. 2nd. I don't know how I'll feel if he decides to delay his appearance for a couple of weeks. But, for now, I'm focused on enjoying this time. :)

I'm due 12/8 & in order to qualify for FMLA to extend my maternity leave, I need to work my 12/10 shift. If I can get to through that shift, then I'd be okay being induced after that if the doctor deemed it necessary/going into labor any day after that. But with being almost 39 weeks, it's just a waiting game... & wondering game: "when are contractions/water breaking going to happen??"

My first baby was 8 days late and I would have gone longer but my doctor convinced me to get induced. I wanted to go as natural as possible, and I did despite being induced, on a pitocin drip and I was in labor for 12 hours. So I know what you mean when you ask this question...no rush and the baby will get here when it wants to!
