Help please

How do I break up with my boyfriend... We've been together for 7 months and I don't feel like I love him he doesn't seem to wanna get to know me he doesn't seem to really care. But he's way to sensitive to everything. He takes me phone and goes through it. He picks fights with me and I can't do it anymore I already told him I don't wanna be with him but how do I tell him I'm not happy with out causing him so mich pain? Please help
