How many words is your toddler saying?

Hi guys, just wanted to see the range of normal for our toddlers. I know it's  normal to have about 10 words around 18 months, with some babies saying more than 50

My son says random words that probably only my husband and I understand. Besides hi and bye bye, everything else is his own language. And everything is a cookie lately lol can be a cracker, bagel, anything. It’s a cookie. And every animal is a doggie 😂 Hope my kid isn’t the only one not using words in the correct context 🤷🏻‍♀️

My boo is killing the word game haha but really he says well over 50 words, doesn’t babble - like only tries to say real words, knows possessives (Henry’s cup, mamas car), says up the stairs, hold you, and a couple other words stung together! I’m just hella proud of him!

I know this is a slightly older post but wondering if anyone can tell me if this sounds normal. I’ve made a list of approx 13 words my son has said more than 3 times now. But they aren’t words he says everyday. Really the only words he does say daily are: mama, dada, no, uh oh, night night, and boo. He is very smart and understands when I say things like “let’s eat breakfast” (he walks to his high chair and reaches), “time for a bath” (he goes to our bathroom door and yells lol), “do you want more milk” (hands me his cup), etc. 
I’ve read he should be saying a lot more and it’s starting to worry me. I do have an appt with his pediatrician but wanting to hear from moms with toddlers his age.

My son has many words that are “close” to the sound, but I only consider him learning a word when it’s said correctly, so under 10. 
He does know almost 10 signs and uses them often throughout the day. 
According to daycare he has a large vocabulary so I’m not sure if they are hearing things more clear than me or if he is just lazy at home 😝

We have 3 signs(milk, please, & more) and consistently only say mama. He occasionally says dad, bub, and mag(our dog). He has says papa once like 3 months ago and said gama the other day but won't say it again. He understanding of words is through the roof though and he tries to mimic sounds. My 1st was the same and a week after his 2nd birth it just clicked and he has never shut up since 2 years later.

We understand about 30-40 words he says, but other people could really only understand 10 words he says every day.
